Our Philosophy and Vision

It is our belief that each child is wonderfully unique and our learning program is designed to embrace this. We recognise that children have a wide range of interests, needs and learning styles. As a result, our play based, child-centred approach reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social and emotional areas of learning for the total development of the child. Meaningful play activities are carefully planned with a combination of child and teacher led activities which enables us to support children's ideas whilst allowing them to make decisions and solve problems.

A child's learning environment should be one which stimulates curiosity, prompts social interaction and promotes learning, both independent and adult led. We believe children learn best when they are happy, secure and have a high sense of well-being and our staff excel in this nurturing role. We recognise the invaluable partnership that our staff and parents share in the education of the child. We strive to enhance this relationship so that each child in our care can flourish to be the best they can possibly be and leave our pre-school as resilient, confident independent and most importantly, happy learners.
